Hi Bob,

I suggest that you just ignore it, it happens to me and just remember that you are not alone! You could tease her by calling her a Homo sapiens. But it could be taken in different ways!

Best,
Andy

Dear Andy,
I think you should set up a councelling service for marine researchers. My wife is taking the piss out of me for now knowing the Latin names for the local algal species...what do you suggest?Bob.

Hi Nicole,

First congratulations on wanting to try out marine biology. I don't blame you as it is a very exciting field to work in. Unfortunately, I don't work in Belfast any more, I'm in northern Scotland now. I suggest that you get your careers advisor to contact the local universities to see if they can get you on work experience for a few weeks. Good luck!
